Physicochemical properties of 4-carboxybenzaldehyde: the appearance of the product looks white crystal powder and its industrial product looks yellowish. The decomposition point is higher than 247. Indissoluble in water and soluble in DMF, it can be esterificated with alcohol and condensated with alcohol aldehyde.
Usage: as it has aldehyde group and carboxyl, it can be reacted in a lot of chemical reactions. As an important intermediate of organic synthesis, it is widely used in medicine, pesticide, coating, raw material of liquid crystal, macromolecular material and spice.
Package, Storage and Transportation: the product is packed in paperboard drum of net weight of 25 kg with plastic lining bag. It should be stored in well-ventilated, dry and cool place. As it is not referred as dangerous article, it can be transported by various kinds of vehicles
